We monitor public life in Poland, using public databases and official registries. Our goal is to increase the transparency of authorities as much as possible. We do not stigmatize and we do not judge; we only want for groups of interest to be described clearly, and for the lawmaking process to be transparent. At this stage, we focus on gathering and processing data. At the ktorzadzi.pl website, we visualize the relations between persons and entities involved in political life. We begun by examining Polish MPs. Our databases are based on official data from the National Court Registry and the Public Procurement Office. We constantly make efforts to introduce new functions to the service and create new applications, which facilitate the monitoring of connections in the worlds of politics and business. The project was co-financed within the “Citizens for Democracy” program of the Stefan Batory Foundation.
