The apki.org project, developed as a part of the Academy 3.0, is a nationwide school of programming, focused on socially beneficial applications. The project was initiated in May 2015; we plan on creating 16 Lab 3.0 clubs in schools in 10 provinces across Poland. Lab 3.0 clubs will be places organizing groups of students interested in programming, creating apps, and ICT technologies, under the supervision of an Educator (a teacher from any given school). Students will participate not only in training conducted by the Educators, but also learn about the practical implementation of programming skills through app building. The labs will also be able to cooperate and exchange information thanks to the apki.org platform.
